Bainbridge College Continuing Education Division is offering Defensive Driving classes this summer on Main Campus in Bainbridge and at the Early County Site in Blakely. Each class has two evening sessions 6 p.m.-9 p.m.

Insurance companies licensed to do business in Georgia are required by law to give at least a 10 percent discount on one’s auto insurance after attending this course, said BC Director of Business and Industry Services Gean Hendrix.

Classes in Bainbridge are June 16 and 18 in Room 416 of the Continuing Education Center. The class will be repeated Aug. 18 and 20. The Defensive Driving class in Blakely will be July 7 and 9 in Room 141 at the BC Early County Site.

For more information or to register to attend at either location, those interested may call 229-248-2516. Enrollment is open to anyone at least 15 years old at a cost of $45. BC students pay a lower rate of $20 and BC staff, faculty and their spouses pay $30.
