Bainbridge College (BC) and the Bainbridge College Early County Site (BCEC) in Blakely marked another semester of record enrollment with 3,515 students attending Fall Semester, 965 of them at BCEC. This reflects a 39 percent increase in the past two years, and a 17 percent increase over last fall’s record enrollment, which was then surpassed in the spring.
Paved parking lots at both locations fill quickly most days. Students on the main campus students find overflow parking in the grass beside the campus streets and along College Road. BCEC students squeeze cars along the sides of the paved areas and on the back lot of the site, which had 211 students when it became part of BC in 2006. Students come from throughout the southwest Georgia region, southeast Alabama, and north Florida.
