    Bainbridge Convention and Visitors Bureau supports Bikefest

    Visitors with their motorcycles from all over the South will be attending the 12th Annual Bainbridge Bikefest this year.  The event is scheduled for September 16th through September 20th, 2009. 

    The goal of Bainbridge Bikefest is to increase economic development in our community.  Participants of the event come into Bainbridge and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars in our stores, hotels, and restaurants.  In 2002, Bainbridge Bikefest brought in 2 million dollars in revenue for Bainbridge in the month of September.  Please give the visitors a warm welcome, and hope that they enjoy our community’s hospitality so much that they travel back every year! 

    The citizens in our community that work so hard to organize Bainbridge Bikefest each year raise monies for many charities, including the Salvation Army, Shriners Hospitals, and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.  You will be making a positive difference by supporting Bikefest in their endeavor to improve our economic climate.  Please extend a warm welcome to all of the visitors that will be in Bainbridge during Bainbridge Bikefest!
