    USDA surplus commodity distribution to be held in Decatur County

    USDA government surplus commodity distribution will be held in Decatur County at the fairgrounds on June 11 , from 9:00 a.m. –  4:00 p.m. if supplies last. 

    All recipients must certify their eligibility.  Those who wish to qualify need to bring their social security card or other i.d. and know their total household income.   

    If you send someone to pick up the commodities for you, they must have a written note signed by you listing your address, total household occupants, and total household income.  Please bring bags and/or boxes to place items in.  Each issue will weigh about 45 lbs.   

    If you have questions please call the Decatur County Neighborhood Service Center at 246-3119.   

    This distribution is operated in accordance with the U.S. Department of Agriculture policy which does not permit discrimination because of race, color, sex, age, handicapping condition, or national origin.
