Fire consumes entire home

On Wednesday at 1:20 pm, Decatur County Sheriff's Department and the Decatur County Fire and Rescue responded to 114 Asphalt Plant Rd. to discover the home of one Michael Passmore, Bainbridge, engulfed in flames. Responders quickly set to work on quenching the fire, which was spreading fast and with a breeze helping to spread the fire, Firefighters set to work in front and back of the home assaulting the fire.
Despite the best efforts of the Firefighters, the home was completely destroyed. Mr. Passmore was a renter of the home and when asked about what would be his next move he replied," Everything that I owned was in there, and now is gone". The homeowner has coverage on the home, but Mr. Passmore did not have renters insurance. Having only the clothes on his back, Mr. Passmore needs help from you.
