    Car overturns on Brinson Airbase Road, possible DUI

    Around 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 5, Decatur County Fire and Resuce responded to a one vehicle accident on Brinson Airbase Road. The vehicle, driven by Deborah Jones was traveling west about 1 1/2 miles outside Brinson when it lost control and left the road as it flipped into the woods. The vehicle came to a rest upside down.

    An open container of alcohol could be seen in the vehicle. GSP Trooper John Jackson stated the accident was possibly caused by DUI. EMS responded and Mrs. Jones was taken to Bainbridge Hospital, injuries have not been reported at this time. A small dog was also in the vehicle but was uninjured.
