Horse Stolen on Hannatown Road in Bainbridge

Over the weekend a horse was stolen on 143 Hannatown Road in Bainbridge. Efforts to locate the horse by its owner Nicola Watson have been unsuccessful. Watson believes the horse may have been stolen from the roadside after it got out of the field it was kept in.

The horse is described as "flea bitten" gray with a black mane and grey tail. The horse can be identified from an old abscess on the left side of its chest. It is about 15.2 hands in height and is a stud horse. The horse is valued at more than $6000 and is named Strathmore.

If you have seen this animal or have any information regarding its whereabouts please contact the Decatur County Sheriffs Office at 229-248-3044.
