Gas prices rose locally over the past two weeks as the price of crude oil hits the $70.00 mark for the first time in several weeks. Donalsonville continues to be the low price leader in Southwest Gerogia averaging up to 10-12 cents per gallon lower pricing than in neighboring towns. According to a viewers report, gas today in Madison Georgia was reported as low as $2.30 per gallon. 

Local prices of regular unleaded gasoline observed are as follows:

Colquitt - $2.42

Donalsonville - $2.36

Bainbridge - $2.46
