Water level:188.15 Water Clarity: Moderate Stain Bass Fishing: Fair
The fishing this week has been overall fair, and many different types of patterns have been working well. Texas rigs have been working well using a Big Bite Baits "Kreit tail"worm in junebug color with a 3/16 oz. tungsten weight, around the scattered stems on main lake flats.
With the recent rains we have experienced in the past couple of weeks, the fish are moving shallower and a Carolina Rig using a Big Bite Baits "Kreit Kreature" in "Junebug Red "color has been well on shallow drop offs near spawning flats.
Another great method of catching some quality fish is flipping. Using a 1oz. tungsten weight and a 5/0 hook paired to a Big Bite Baits "Fighting Frog" in "Blue Fleck" color in matted grass and stalks works great.
Thats all for now...Best of Luck!
