Water level: 188.36 with Moderate Stain
Bass Fishing FAIR: The water on the lake this week has still moderately stained, however some fish are still biting. Some fish are being caught in various ways but the majority i have caught are still shallow. One good way of catching them are with a SPRO "Little John" lipless crank bait in "cellmate" color on the flats and current breaks on mail lake points.
The SPRO "Mcstick110" jerk bait has been doing a good job on the current breaks as well. Another way to catch the fish is using a 6" Big Bite Baits "Kriet Tail Worm" in Sapphire Blue color with a 1/8 oz tungsten weight Texas rigged in the willow grass. Also underwater humps in the mouth of creeks have been producing some fair fish, the best way to catch these fish are by using a SPRO Little John DD in "cellmate" color on the humps and river ledges. Another productive method of catching these fish is to use a "Carolina rig" with a 3/4oz. weight and a Big Bite Baits "Kreit Kreature".
Thats all for now, Best of Luck.
