Around 26 years ago, in 1981, Grace Christian Church began with a strong discipleship. Not long after its inception, the church purchased the current property and began building it's first building.

Fellowship Baptist Church, located 7 miles west of Bainbridge on Spring Creek Road, has become one of the largest churches in Decatur County. The church, which has seen tremendous growth in recent years, currently has a membership of nearly 700 people.

In 1852 the Presbytery of Florida organized and formed the First Presbyterian Church of Bainbridge. The First Presbyterian Church of Bainbridge, which is located at 200 E. Shotwell street in Bainbridge. The church, which currently has about 285 members, is among the oldest churches in Bainbridge.

In 1998, under the direction of Pastor Gerald Parvous, Southwest Baptist Church of Bainbridge was established. Over the years the church has seen steady growth and has a current membership of 125 people.

Around the year of 1896, The St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church was organized. The 110-year-old fellowship was originally located in the Black Jack Community on the Old Whigham Dairy Road in Bainbridge, Georgia.

The Bainbridge Church of God was established in 1928 through the ministry of the Reverend and Mrs. L. H. Griffis who ministered in cottage prayer meetings. Property was purchased on the corner of Troupe and Boulevard in 1930.
